Black & Blush Pink Modern Floral Bedroom. A chic, feminine girls bedroom style that will grow with her into the tween years and beyond.
Black & Blush Pink Modern Floral Bedroom
Welcome to the bedroom of my middle child, Chloé. She just turned ten last month. She loves all things creative, and her favorite color for quite some time now has been black.
So I wasn’t that surprised when I asked what color walls she’d like and she requested black. We compromised at one wall, and I let her approve the bedding, but I kept the rest of her room décor a surprise.
Come on in and take a look around!
Since this home was a new build, the before was just an empty room with the walls painted “Agreeable Gray” by Sherwin-Williams.
I started by painting the feature wall the color “Black Magic” by Sherwin-Williams. Once it dried, I added the Peony Floral Wall Decals. Not only are they stunning, but they were also super easy to apply (and shift around a bit to get them “just so”).
I ordered the curtain panels in Peachy Pink from Birch Lane and hoped they would match the Black and Blush Pink Bedding I’d ordered from Pottery Barn Teen closely enough. Thankfully, they were a perfect match.
LOVE SOMETHING in Chloe’s MODERN FLORAL BEDROOM?
I’ve linked a few things throughout the post.
The full source list appears at the bottom of the blog post.
The IKEA vanity is one we already had in our room when we lived in Germany, so we moved that to her room as it fits perfectly on the floral wall.
Since we get a lot of company in Charleston, bunk beds are ideal for extra guests with kids. We ordered this white bunk bed for both of the girls’ bedrooms.
The bunk beds also allow for a ton of under-bed storage. I used large shallow plastic under the bed totes to hide a lot of their toys and art stuff. It makes for easy clean-up and keeps things tidy (most of the time).
The bookcase you can see a bit of is this one I found on Overstock.
Her bedding, sheets, and the cute “Pillow Person” lounge chair are all from Pottery Barn Teen.
A white writing desk gives her a space to do her homework, play games, and get creative.
The “live your dream” canvas art and the letter board shelves above the plant are both from Hobby Lobby.
The finishing touch was having my husband hang the chandelier. I’m a huge fan of how a light fixture transforms a space!

And that’s it for her room. If only it only always looked this clean.
It rarely does…because kids. 😜
