10 Fun Doormats for Your Front Porch
A typographic doormat is a great way to make a statement when visitors come to your front door.
Up the style by adding a cute rug underneath, as I did with a buffalo check plaid rug. So easy and so adorable!
I love the typography on this one so much, it's the one currently on my front porch! This one is just plain true! Because paying someone a kind compliment is always a good idea. Turn that Ring Doorbell cam on and see who actually busts a move! For all my fellow introverts. 😂 Raise your hand if you have an online shopping problem. Me: *Raises hand* This one cracks me up. With three kids and three dogs, I should probably give people fair warning. Because tacos are life and I'd never turn away someone who showed up at my door with tacos. Bonus points if they also show up with a bottle of Skinny Girl Margaritas! Isn't this one the cutest? I actually had this one on my porch before the holidays. I put it away to put out my holiday rug and apparently hid it from myself. We can't find it anywhere and I'm thinking I need to re-purchase it! My husband forgets at least one of these three things and his to-go coffee ALL.THE.TIME. I'm thinking about placing this by our back door as a not-so-subtle reminder. 😜 Layering rugs is super trendy right now. And for good reason! This is the one I have on my porch. ❤️

Easy Ways to Add MORE Charm to Your Porch
- Add a large rug to make it feel more like a finished space.
- Create a cozy spot to hang out. We love sitting in these rocking chairs with a coffee while our kids ride their scooters.
- Have a wood porch? Consider painting it! We painted ours black like many of the historic homes in downtown Charleston.
- Add some plants. I’m the WORST at keeping plants alive so I have a super low maintenance Sago Palm.
- Hang a classic door wreath like my Magnolia Leaf one.
- A hanging porch sign, like the one below I found at Hobby Lobby, is so charming!
- Change out the light for something with more character. We added a ceiling medallion for an extra cute touch.
- Paint your stairs risers. I painted mine to look like a faux-tile. Get the full How-To HERE.
- Place a large wooden Welcome Sign by the front door.
- Layer one or even two cute rugs under your doormat.
