This handsome boy took me for a run today. He was the only one of us that wasn’t an out-of-breath, sweaty mess at the end. 😅⁣

I turn 40 this Fall and I’m determined to do it in the best shape of my life, so I’m adding running back into my workout routine. I normally workout 5-6 days a week alternating between weight workouts and Peloton rides, but my body seems to respond best to running.⁣
⁣
A few years ago, running was my main workout. I did 5Ks, 10Ks, and even a half marathon. But it’s been a few years since I’ve done any regular running, so I’m starting over with the Couch to 5K app.⁣
⁣
I’m a slow runner so my goal for this year is to get my 5K time under 30 minutes!⁣
⁣
Did you set any health or fitness goals for this year? I’ve been super inspired by Rebel Wilson’s Year of Health!

Isn’t the little metal town set too sweet? I just love how it lights up. It came with the building, trees, and snowmen.⁣

We’ll be at my parents for Thanksgiving and then hosting my in-laws for Christmas, so I’m not decorating specifically for Thanksgiving like I do when we are hosting. ☺️⁣

I got a ton of lettering work done in here today! I’ve been slacking on my IG here because running two blogs and two sets of social media feels extra hard this year. 😜 ⁣

But it looks like my kids will go back to school in about two weeks, so I’m anticipating getting back into a more normal work schedule for the first time in nearly a year! ⁣

Despite being a major homebody and introvert, I’m starting to feel the cabin fever set in this past week. ⁣
